Stop Complaining!
LOVE them or LEAVE them...but STOP complaining!
There is no perfect man or woman, so stop concentrating on the things that they're not when there are so many things that they are! It's your responsibility to build them up! If you don't make them feel like a man/women, then who is?

Do the Work!
Some relationships can look great on the outside...strong...perfection in every way, but what many fail to realize is the conscious effort it takes to maintain such a bond! After the infatuation stage your relationship cant merely last on love alone! You have to clock in every day as you would for work and put in your time! Being in relationship can be very beneficial, fun and exciting, but don't just jump in because it looks good without being willing to do the work!

Tell Me I'm Beautiful!!
Ladies,
We have ALL experienced this! It used to drive me crazy...all that effort to go unnoticed is a crime lol In my situation, my husband (WES) would always tell me how great I looked, BUT when the day was over, in that final hour when my make up was faded, I'm wearing flats because my heels have worn me out and my blow out is no longer grooving :( They'll hit you with this line, "Baby, you know you looked amazing tonight right?" Ugh! In the words of Drake "better late than never, but NEVER late is better!" (but still I smile and tell him thanks anyway because I love him and he still manages to see the beauty after the day has had its way with me:) )
You've just got your hair done, feeling fab as your fresh blow out is grooving in the breeze. Your body's draped in an effortless, sexy ensemble, feeling confident as each garment elegantly hugs you in just the right places. You've got your MAC make-up painted on perfectly, feeling completely made up with a fierce red lip! You look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself "Yes! I Did That!" in your Tamar Braxton voice. #shewon You turn to your man for confirmation and all he says is NOTHING!!! LOL
Don't you hate when you look your best and your guy doesn't mention a thing? In many cases (at least in a good relationship) it's not that he doesn't actually notice how stunning you look, it's either they are too busy in the mirror looking at themselves awaiting you to cosign their appearance, glued to the TV because it's the last play of the game and it's a MUST see (my man all day, every day!! lol), their brains are so bogged down with work and forgot to leave it at the front door, video games got them captivated or they feel like you already know how beautiful you are...didn't think they needed to tell you!

I've just had several conversations with friends over the past several week about this and it was hilarious, to say the least, how similar our stories were! So, calling all men!! When you see your girl looking her absolute best (and even when shes not so glammed up because natural beauty is by far the best!) take the time and tell her she's beautiful at first glance! We LOVE and need that :)
Comment if this has happened to you!!

Preference or Deal Breaker???
No the difference between preference and deal breakers! Too often we give up on LOVE over silly things...things that can actually be changed...things that have nothing to do with the depth and value of a person. Don't miss out on LOVE because you've allowed insignificant things to hold your attention!

One of My Favs!
Two of my favorite artists, Lauryn Hill and D'Angelo collaborated and created one of THE best LOVE songs, whose lyrics express how it feels to be lost in LOVE and what an amazing feeling it can be...
What's your favorite LOVE song???
The First Time is All the Evidence You Need!
When people show you who they are believe them! Understand the truth of them and yourself. Don't waste your time with people who have shown you that they really mean no good for you.
Save yourself the heart ache when the unfaithfulness first presents itself...not after the 10th time it makes itself known!
What's Your LOVE Language???
OK, so lets start with the basics! Do you know your love language? Feel like somethings missing in your relationship? This book may be your problem solver and what better time than now to spice things up a bit. I just finished this book and I must say it's AMAZING!! My Husband (Wes the Best!) and I read it, discovered our LOVE languages, and within a weeks time have been able to better fulfill each other's emotional needs or "LOVE TANKS" as the book refers to it, quicker than the 3 and half years that we've been married! Go Figure!
Single, dating, or married I feel like you have to be willing to learn your love language in order to express to someone how they can effectively communicate love to you! So...what are you waiting for?? Discover your love language using the following link http://www.5lovelanguages.com/profile/ and share with me if it was able to truly capture how you receive love.
I'll start! My primary love language is Words of Affirmation...
For those that have already read this book please share if its been as helpful to you as it has been for me!
